About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client's dynamic team in Huddersfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.
- Checking that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received.
- Picking goods from the warehouse for dispatch to customers.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy, and that goods are stored safely.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift license is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
